Bahram under the Gonbad-e Kabood (Sky)
Unknown artist Shesh Masnavi 1567 Golestan Palace *** I wish I had created this piece, which obviously I have not. Its a part of Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art. There is so much detail to this piece. The typography with the use of grid lines, gold embellishments, drawings exceeding the boarder of the page with a flower garden to the right. The detailing which has gone to the faces and the clothing is masterly and marvelous. Certainly, its amongst one of the world richest cultures which not allot of people are aware of. --Full view is recommended |

As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same.
